As someone who lives in blacks, greys, whites, and neutrals, I often struggled to turn simple pieces into something that felt like me. Accessories became my way of expressing myself – first jewellery, then glasses, bags, and anything that added personality to an otherwise minimal wardrobe.

I HATE the feeling of having nothing to wear – If I don’t feel confident in what I’m wearing, I’m not going. I’m sure many of you reading this can relate to that moment of standing in front of the wardrobe and feeling completely uninspired. 

For me, confidence often starts with the outfit. Even this morning, I felt flat – grey jeans, white T‑shirt, grey jumper, nothing exciting. Then I spotted my khaki neck scarf hanging out of the wardrobe. I tied it around my waist, added glasses, jewellery, and my Boia bag, and suddenly I felt like a new woman. That tiny shift changed my whole energy, and therefore the trajectory of my entire day. That’s the power of accessorising –  it’s not just about looking good, it’s about feeling good.

I want to show people that you don’t need a new wardrobe to feel inspired. A foundation of good basics and a few great accessories can transform everything. They carry you from day to night, from work to dinner, from uninspired to confident – with just a few intentional choices.

Boia was born from that belief: that style doesn’t have to be complicated, and confidence doesn’t have to be expensive. It’s about elevating your wardrobe and helping people feel like the most empowered version of themselves.
